Which languages does Coachlog understand?
Transcription works in Polish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch. You pick the language per team. The app interface is available in 13 languages, including Polish and English.
Do I need the phone, the panel, or both?
Recording happens in the iOS or Android app. The web panel at panel.coachlog.app is where you review sessions, stats and reports on a bigger screen, and where you can upload an existing audio file. Live recording in the browser is not available yet.
Does it work without internet on the pitch?
Yes for recording. The app saves your notes locally and uploads them when you are back online. The panel needs a connection.
How long until I see the analysis?
Transcription and analysis start automatically when you stop recording. A short note is ready in seconds. A 20 to 45 minute recording takes a few minutes.
Do I have to type in player names?
Add your squad once. From then on, say the name in the note (“Alex, good first touch”) and Coachlog matches it to the player. The more concrete the note, the better the analysis.
Where is the data stored, and is it GDPR compliant?
Data lives on Supabase servers in the EU (Frankfurt), audio on Cloudflare R2 in the EU. Transcription uses Deepgram and analysis uses OpenAI with zero data retention. You can export everything as JSON or delete the account and all its data at any time. Coachlog is operated by Fortnight AI Ltd, a UK company.
Can parents see their child's progress?
Each player has an optional public link that shows their stats without a login. You decide per player, and you can switch it off at any time.
Is the Free plan different from a Pro trial?
Yes. Creating a free account in the panel gives you 15 minutes of recordings a month, 3 reports and 1 team, without a card or an automatic subscription. If you choose a Pro subscription in the panel, its 7-day trial requires a card. You are charged for the selected monthly or annual plan when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. Any trial offered during mobile onboarding is explained separately in the app.
